About The Role

Role: Swimming Teacher (Level 2)
Location: Chorley Leisure Venues
Contract: Part time (between 6 - 19 hours per week) / Permanent
Salary: £17.82 per hour
Closing Date: 31 August 2025

An exciting opportunity to join the team at Chorley Leisure Limited as a Swimming Teacher at both All Seasons Leisure Centre and Brinscall Swimming Pool.

There are a range of working hours available across the week, consisting of mornings between 9-12pm, afternoons between 1-3pm, evenings between 4-7pm during the week and between 8-11am at the weekends.

We are looking for passionate individuals to create a positive environment in which to motivate and encourage participation of children and adults in swimming lessons.

As a Swimming Teacher you will plan, prepare and deliver a range of swimming lessons to all abilities. You will communicate clear explanations and demonstrate appropriate swimming techniques to pupils, assess pupils’ abilities, providing feedback and encouragement to improve the performance of swimmers.

About you
  •  Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification with Swim England or Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming with the Swimming Teachers’ Association is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  •  National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is also desirable, but training will be provided within the first three months of employment if not already qualified. The candidate must be available week commencing 17th October 2025 to undertake this course.
