About The Role

Role: Graduate Trainee Management Accountant
Location: Chorley Town Hall
ContractFull time (36.25 hours per week) / Permanent
Salary: £32,578 - £34,811

A fantastic opportunity for career progression with an enthusiastic team in Chorley and South Ribble. This role offers the chance to work across both the Management Accounts and Financial Accounts functions of the team and subsequently develop a range of high level technical skills.

What you’ll be getting up to
  • Liaising with service directorates to ensure robust in-year performance management of income and expenditure against budgets.
  • Preparing and presenting management accounts reports for budget holders.
  • Contributing to the development of corporate and service strategies.
Who we’re looking for
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
  • Experience of working in a team to deliver outcomes.
  • Experience of completing projects to a defined deadline.
  • Strong IT skills
