About The Role

Role: Leisure Officer
Location: Bamber Bridge Sports Hub
Contract: Fixed Term (20 hours per week)
Salary: £25,704 for full time working. Pro rata salary £13,894
Closing Date: 15th July 2025


We are looking for a keen, friendly and organised person to join our team here at Bamber Bridge Sports Hub. This role is primarily for the summer months when our kiosk gets busy throughout the day so we need someone with great customer service skills, who, even when busy, is able to manage their workload whilst ensuring top standard customer satisfaction at all times.

What you’ll be getting up to
  • Serving customers in our Kiosk
  • Helping move sporting equipment
  • Helping customers and answering enquiries
  • Keep standards of cleanliness high
  • Taking bookings 
  • Working both in a team and working independently at times
Who we’re looking for
 
Here at Bamber Bridge Sports Hub we are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills, someone who strives to do their best in everything they do and is able to follow procedures whilst also being able to use their own initiative. 
 
Preferred:
  • Cash Handling experience
  • Customer Service experience
 
 Other requirements
  • Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check (applied and paid for by the Council).
