About The Role

Role:  Head of Finance (Deputy S151)
Location: Town Hall, Chorley and Civic Centre, South Ribble
ContractFull time
Salary: £68,472

This is a fantastic opportunity to join two dynamic and high performing organisations as our Head of Finance.  You will provide financial leadership to support both councils ambitious priorities and support the development of the finance service.

What you’ll be getting up to
You'll be supporting the financial sustainability of the councils through our financial strategies.
You'll be working with elected members, leaders, and managers to ensure a culture of robust budget management.
You'll be developing the team, supporting the next generation of finance professionals.

Who we’re looking for

An experience local government finance professional looking for their next challenge.

Other requirements
This role requires some travel around our boroughs. You should have a valid driving licence or the equivalent mobility.
